YeeHaw Brewing and Ole Smoky Moonshine joined forces to create a magical super-venue called 6th & Peabody. This unique facility in downtown Nashville provides live entertainment on multiple stages, indoor and outdoor video walls, an onsite brewery AND distillery, as well as multiple food options including Asheville, NC’s “White Duck Tacos”.
AVLX was selected as the vendor of choice to make it all come alive. The video elements include (2) 21’x12’ Square V video walls and multiple Sony 85” TV’s. The highlight on the audio system is the D&B outdoor PA which regularly hosts local, regional and national acts for both free and ticketed events. Most of the theatrical lighting is from Elation, providing key lighting, wash lights, linear fixtures as well as multiple effects and moving fixtures. In addition to the theatrical elements, AVLX was tasked with providing the Data Network (Cisco Meraki), surveillance system, POS wiring, and the control system. This Elan (video over IP) control system allows the management to easily adjust audio and video on the fly, enabling the staff to quickly find your favorite game and turn up the volume in seconds! We’re even running multiple computers which host “Pro Presenter” software. This content can be streamed to any TV throughout the facility which is very handy for private events and corporate buyouts. We work closely with the City Winery production team to ensure that each venue’s audio, video, and lighting systems are perfectly tailored to meet their needs. There is consistency in product throughout their many locations such as Meyer Sound performance audio, Yamaha consoles, ETC lighting, Cisco Meraki networks, and Elan Control. Several of venues feature house lighting from Ketra, a Lutron product. Ketra features low power, high output lighting that is both tunable and customizable, enabling the house lighting to become part of the theatrical system. Penn Social is a 10,000sqft. event space and performance hall located in the heart of DC, just a few blocks from the White House. Penn Social hosts hundreds of events in the Nation’s capital including corporate events, weddings, Mitzvahs, private parties and much more. This first-class venue provides an incredible location to host these many events. AVLX ensured that the quality of the AV equipment was commensurate with the amazing aesthetics of the space.
Our team worked hand in hand with Penn Social to select the premier systems to integrate. With a Cisco Meraki Network, Sony Projection, Martin Torus PA, Digico Quantum 225 console w Waves SoundGrid server, and ELAN to control it all, Penn Social truly has the equipment needed to put forth spectacular productions. The icing on the cake is provided by KETRA by Lutron brand. The Ketra house lighting provides a low power, high output solution that allows the house lighting to become part of the theatrical backdrop.

Good Time Design is an all-encompassing hospitality and entertainment group based in San Diego, California and Nashville, Tennessee. Created in 2006 by businessman and hospitality entrepreneur, Ty Hauter, the company has rapidly grown to own and operate numerous unique establishments.
AVLX has been a long time partner of GTD, assisting in the design and AV integration for many projects including the George Jones, Moonshine Flats, Coal Town Pizza & Public House, Front Street Tavern, Cerveza Jacks and more. We provide ongoing assistance for GTD in maintaining IT networks, surveillance, AV, and control systems. There is consistency built into the multiple venues, which provides familiarity with the staff in their day to day operations. Controlling the audio, video, and lighting is comparable among the multiple establishments which allows the staff focus on the clientele, rather than the tech.
